TOP ARGENTINE YOUTH TO VIE FOR CHAMPIONSHIP IN 24-GOAL OPEN FINAL

The AAP has rescheduled the high-goal Argentine Open Youth Championship for this Saturday in Palermo. It will take place on field 2 at 2 p.m., preceding the Tortugas Open final (field 1 at 4 p.m.). Five teams of players up to 21 years of age competed in the 24-goal tournament, which is celebrating its 35th year.

Tortugas will face La Mancha in the final for the third consecutive time. Tortugas is seeking their fourth title in a row, while La Mancha will try to bounce back from their one-goal losses the past two years.

Every player has a 6-goal handicap. The lineups are:

Tortugas: Segundo Bocchino, Juan M. Zubía , Bartolomé Castagnola (Jr.) and Jerónimo del Carril. Total: 24

La Mancha: Santiago Loza, Lucas Díaz Alberdi, Bautista Bayugar and Martín Podestá (h). Total: 24
