Ylvisaker Finals Set

In the opening match of the semi-final double header Coke jumped out to a 3-2 lead in the first chukker and managed to pull away from Orchard Hill by halftime with an 8 to 5 lead. Wes Finlayson (3) was Coke's playmaker throughout the match. Things got rough in the second half with both Gillian Johnston (2) and Julio Arellano (8) red flagged for dangerous riding. After five chukkers Coke pulled away by four goals. In the 6th Arellano collided with Facundo Pieres (10) causing both players to leave the game. Julio with a two-minute penalty and Facu unable to return do to an injury. Orchard Hill then scored three unanswered goals but came up short losing to Coke 10 to 11.
Postage Stamp came into game two with just one player from their original lineup, Mariano Aguerre (9). Their game against Tonkawa was just as physical with Tonkawa leading Postage Stamp most of the match. Another young player, Timmy Dutta (0), put on an impressive performance for Postage Stamp. In the 5th Aguerre managed to get his Postage Stamp team a one goal lead but Sapo Caset (10) put Tonkawa back in the lead to take the win with a final score of 13-12 Tonkawa.
Tonkawa will play Coke on Sunday at IPC in the final at 3pm.
